Pre-season testing is half way done and we’ve got to see all 10 cars and 21 different drivers (Haas gave Pietro Fittipaldi a run last week) and what have we learned from it?
This week on the podcast we look back at the 1st week where we got fast times from the midfield teams, huge lap counts from Mercedes and Ferrari and only one and a half days worth of track time from what seems to be the ailing Williams team. With another 4 days of running to come this week, we could be looking at the first revisions on the 2019 cars after the more “basic” packages were used last week and this is where we begin to see the subtle improvements that can give teams any extra tiny edge possible. We’re only 3 weeks away from the start of the season and this will give us a decent clue as to how things will pan out for at least the opening 4 races.
And in an extra bit of news, you can now listen to our shows on Spotify
