Welcome along to another of our lockdown shows from the (as you can see in the title photo) sunny Isle of Man!
This week we look at the current state of the season with the Canadian GP being the next race to announce its postponement due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which at the time of recording left the French GP as the earliest race on the current calendar, which has since been postponed too. There’s also our thoughts on Ross Brawn’s comments that the season could contain 18 or 19 races running to January 2021 if the situation means that racing can start at the end of July.
We also pay tribute to the great Sir Stirling Moss, who sadly died at the weekend, leaving a legacy of amazing racing, not just in F1, but in many other series and classes as well.
There’s our usual bunch of tangents too and the launch of our new Discord server where you can join in with the general chat and where we’ll be doing watch-along chats for classic races starting with the 2007 Brazilian GP this Thursday (16th) at 8PM UK time. And where we hope to be able to stream the podcast live for Patreon subscribers from next week with an extra Q&A session that we’ll put out on the show as well.
Of course there’s the usual Who’s A Total Shunt and some Formula Lee results (with an almost world-beating time)
