Finally we’re ready for the first race of the 2020 F1 season, after the last second cancellation of Australia and almost 4 months of global lockdown due to you know what, we’re finally here at the first race day of the year. Obviously it’s not going to be the kind of day that we’ve become used to over the years, there’s no crowds, no grid walk, no singalongs on the podium and the teams are cut down to vital staff only. But there’s still a race and at the end of the day, that’s the important part.
It’s always tough to call the first race of the season, but if yesterday’s qualifying is anything to go by then we should be in for a strong performance from Mercedes, improved showings from McLaren and Racing Point, RedBull being the 2nd best team and WHAT’S GOINE WRONG AT FERRARI?
Anyway, it’ll all unfold over the next few hours, so Paul, Chris and Sian will be here to take you whatever happens on possibly the most anticipated Austrian Grand Prix ever
