So can he do it today? That’s the main question. Lewis Hamilton is on the verge of taking the 20118 Driver’s Championship with a win at the Circuit of the Americas as long as Sebastian Vettel doesn’t finish 2nd, but with the Ferrari driver landing a 3 place grid penalty for not slowing enough under red flags during Friday’s practice, it might have been made easier for him. Add to this the fact that there was no dry running at all on Friday, so everyone is going into the race with less data than they ideally wanted and we could be in for an interesting race.
