F1’s coming home and it will be for the next 5 years as well. After this week’s announcement that the British GP at Silverstone is top stay on the Formula 1 calendar until 2024 at the very least it’s time for qualifying for the most anticipated race in the last few years. RedBull are going into the weekend on a high after Max’s win in Austria, Mercedes will be looking to get back to the top step that they’ve only given up once this year and Ferrari will look to break the hoodoo that’s followed them this season when they’ve lost 2 races that they looked to have in the bag.
Of course you can’t win a race on Saturday (we say that every couple of weeks), but you can put yourself in a position where you can lose it, so will we see anyone make their Sunday harder than it needs to be? We’ll find out over the next hour or so…
