So it’s business as usual then for the 1st race of the season. Lewis Hamilton set the “party mode” going on the W09 and took pole position with a gap of over 0.6 of a second back to the Ferrari’s of 2nd place Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian Vettel in 3rd.
But does the Mercedes car have the race pace as well as the speed it’s got over one lap? We’ll find out this morning as Chris, Dan & Paul take you through the race live with help from Sian & Lee too.
