Qualifying at Suzuka is sometimes fairly tricky to predict as there’s a variety of setups that can be used for the race and teams & drivers have to work out if it’s worth taking the risk of losing a few places on the grid for faster pace on Sunday, but then there’s always the problem of actually being able to pass the slower cars in front of you on the day. Throw some predicted rain into the equation (60% chance of heavy showers during from 4-5PM local time) and we could be in for an interesting hour. Which is just as well for us because European viewers are up early in the morning for this one (Q starts at 7PM UK time!) so let’s see hwo this one goes this morning…
