With not much news to report on Monday we thought we’d have another of our round table “state of the nation” chats about F1 again this week, which always leads to discussions about the driver market and this Silly Season that seems to have been going on longer than the actual season itself. Needless to say we got Tuesday’d again with the news about Antonio Giovinazzi joining Sauber for 2019!
Also in the non jump cut parts of the show we wonder about what the point of Toro Rosso is these days; as the team’s role seems to have changed from a proving ground for young RedBull drivers to what could be a “normal” F1 team and also look at what a tyre war could do for F1 if they decide to go with both Hankook and Pirelli for 2020 (not looking likely, but you know we like to speculate!)
There’s the usual stuff as well, including a Formula Lee reminder (Russia in the wet in a Willaims) and a Who’s a Total Shunt. Don’t forget about our extra show on our Patreon page where you can get an exclusive extra podcast for as little as $1 a month. And if you want your own t-shirt form the cover pic, you can get one from our shop at Teepublic
Enjoy
As always, you can listen here or on Sticher and iTunes and most other podcast apps too along with Acast and TuneIn Radio (which means we now play on Alexa devices!)
