So is the Day/Night Abu Dhabi Grand Prix just one big metaphor then? With it being the only twilight race of the year and coming at the end of the season then I guess the whole “sun setting on another year” thing sort of rings true?

This week on the podcast we look forward to this year’s race in the desert, which could see the end of a couple of careers (Hulk & Kubica) and the highest number of drivers in a long time (18) who know they’ll be staying with their current teams next year. Not much news to report this week as we’re right at the end of the season and we’re pretty sure that any major announcements will be held over until testing next week (or when Nicholas Latifi has qualified for his Super Licence and can officially be announced by Williams), but there’s all the usual stuff like Who’s A Total Shunt and finally the Formula Lee results from Brazil and a reminder of the current challenge (Abu Dhabi in the dry in a Mercedes) and a reminder about the last round of our predictions league running too that you can take part in.
